Sun, sun, Mr. Golden sun, please shine down on me!
Ha! Now that song is stuck in your head!
Here is a pretty set, the stones are faceted carnelian, highlighted with sterling silver beads and these beautiful sterling silver sun clasps. You can wear the necklace with the clasp in the front as a pendant, or at the back for a classic look.
Here is a pretty crochet and weave style necklace. There are three different colors of pearls woven together with sterling silver wire along with tiny 2mm sterling silver beads which surround this gorgeous Karen Hill Tribe flower pendant. The pendant is approximately 1 1/2"(40mm) in diameter and the necklace is about 17" (44cm) long with an additional 1" extender chain.

Here is my first attempt at the famous Eni Oken bangle! I used Botswana Agate and Carnelian along with some Hill Tribe silver. I did all the coiling with 30 gauge wire, it took forever! lol So here are a couple pictures before it's oxidized, I'll post some more pictures in a little while once I get the patina done.

I finally got my wire order so I decided I should try some of Eni Okens tutorials! She does some incredible stuff so it can be intimidating to replicate her work, but hey, you just need to go for it! So that's what I did. I started with an easy project, the ring, I used an 8mm black tourmaline and then I oxidized it to give it that aged look, after that moved up to the pendant,(not sure if I should oxidize it or not) I wanted to use the tourmaline I had, but I think it would have been a bit better if I wasn't using the chips, next I will be doing either the coil bezel ring or the famous Eni bangle. Wish me luck and happy coiling!

That's me! Number 50. This is a new organization that has been started buy a fellow jewelry designer. I believe there are already over 160 members just in the first couple of weeks! The idea behind SRAJD is to help create unity and understanding between fellow artists and our customers. The logo shows that I am a self representing artist in jewelry design. It means I design and make all the jewelry I sell. Since this organization is still in it’s infancy it’s really hard to predict how things will develop, but as they say strength in numbers, so I encourage any other jewelry artists that happen across my blog to visit the site and email Laura with any questions or idea’s you may have! www.SRAJD.com

This is a sterling silver and peridot anklet. I really like these crocheted pieces, they just dazzle in the sunshine! This anklet is about 1 1/4" wide, and 9 1/2" -10 1/4" long, but varies slightly because of the randomness of the crochet. It looks delicate but is quite durable, although not something you wear while sleeping.
Here's a wonderful necklace! I used beautiful blue button pearls with pink and purple potato pearls. In between each pearl is either a tiny 2mm fluorite gemstone bead or a sterling silver bead.
Hanging from this three strand necklace is a mesmerizing fine silver pendant which has been oxidized to bring out the detail and give it that aged look.
The necklace before it’s been twisted measures about 18 ½” (47cm) long plus the pendant which is about 1 ½” (4cm) in diameter. Once it has a few twists, as shown in the picture the length shortens slightly.
