Scrap Metal and Emeralds Cuff Bracelet

I know I haven’t been posting much, but I have been busy! Time just seems to zip by these days! Anyway, here is my new favorite bracelet. It’s a sterling silver cuff bracelet with 5 little emeralds. Here’s the blurb from my website.

It looks like it came out of the scrap pile, it looks industrial, heavy metal, or medieval, however you see it, you can tell it’s a unique one of a kind piece. Five genuine emeralds are set in this cuff, like they were caught in the flow of the molten metal. This cuff bracelet will fit an average sized wrist comfortably. I think it looks particularly nice right at the base of the hand just above the wrist bone. This bracelet is between 1/2 inch to 3/4 of an inch (1.5 – 2cm) wide

On A Personal Note

My daughter and I a few weeks ago.

My kids are almost 5! I just can't believe it has already been five years. So many people told me to enjoy them because they grow up so fast, those people were right!

Egyptian Coil and Pearls

This was a custom order necklace that I made to match a bracelet the client previously bought. There is about 35 feet of sterling silver wire hand coiled into these egyptian links and the pearls add a lovely feminine touch.

My Website Is Up!

It has taken a long time, but it is finally up and running. There is still quite a list of things I need to do, but chances are once I take something off the top of the list something else will be added to the bottom. I think a website is an entity all it's own that requires constant attention! If you have any ideas or suggestions for my site just drop me an email.
Also, this site is running on a new framework that my DH built; in the future (we're beta testing now) we will be offering sites with hosting. If you might be interested in something like that shoot me an email cristine@mariecristine.com

Relic

Thank you Bead Faery for the name suggestion!
In between planning my wedding, working on my website, having company, and the rest of life’s interruptions I managed to get this necklace made. It's quite different from anything I've done before, but I like how it turned out.
I cut and polished the stone, (agate I think) made the weird wire links and details on the bezel, then set the stone and made the chain! I used 14, 16 and 18 gauge sterling silver wire on this piece.

These earrings are quite large measuring 1 1/2" at the widest point and 2 1/2" long from the top of the ear wire. The bottom half of the triangle has a lightly hammered texture while the top half has a smooth high polish shine. The chain links are hand made and the stones are black spinel, labradorite and moonstone brios.
