My buddy made this for me, I traded earrings (for his girlfriend) plus a little cashola. It's such a beautiful knife so I wanted to share it with all of you on his behalf. I wish I remembered more of the process and details, he did explained it to me, but that was a few months ago now, so all that information is gone, I think it has fallen out my left ear.

He did everything including the snakskin handle and the leather work.

I wasn't quite done!

I added one more coil at the bottom of the pendant!

Sterling Coils and Chain with Garnet

Here is a pretty necklace I finished last night. I used Egyptian coil links and hand made chain to create this special piece.

Four Seasons Of Jewelry 06/07

I have signed up to take part in FSOJ 2006/07 which starts on September 28th. Basically the idea is to create one piece each week for 13 weeks of the season, there is a theme but you do not have to follow it, it's mostly there to help provide inspiration. The first seasons theme is earth. Please check the site for more information and too see wonderful jewelry from many talented artists!

Sterling Silver Egyptian Coil Necklace

This necklace is made using an ancient technique which required approximately 40 feet of hand coiled sterling silver wire to achieve a total length that is adjustable between 15 ½” (40cm) and 17" (44 1/2cm.) It has been oxidized to create that wonderful aged patina, and it is so sensual and luxurious yet can be paired with anything from your favortie jeans to your little black dress.

-This piece measures a little over ½” (1 1/2cm) wide.

Egyptian Coil Necklace

Since making the bracelet I decided I needed to try a necklace! This one is not quite finished yet, but I wanted to take some before and after pictures.

Leopord Jasper and Sodilite Necklace

This versatile necklace is almost 52" long! You can wear it long, tie a knot, double it or even triple it. This stone is full of beautiful earthy colours which are perfect for fall, and if you look closely you will see a hint of blue sodilite in between the discs!

Fancy Jasper necklace

This is a pretty necklace made with faceted fancy jasper rectangles
and smooth round beads, each separated with a little sterling silver bead.

This is a five strand tourmaline bracelet with sterling silver accent beads and a beautiful sterling silver and rose quartz box clasp.

Garnet and sterling silver bracelet and earrings. This photo was taken indoors at night so the colour is a bit dark.

Amethyst necklace

Labradorite and Kyanite necklace

A great fall necklace! It's even long enough to wear it doubled.

Picture Jasper and Turquoise Necklace

I really like this combination, I'm tempted to keep it!

Coral and Sterling Bracelet

I gave it a bit of a patina.

Moonstone Charm Bracelet

Here is the bracelet with a patina, but since the other picture is so dark and discoloured it will be hard to have accurate idea of the difference between the two finishes.
