Materials: Wire, I use rebar, or tie wire, you can find it at any harware store, and pliers.
Uncloil some wire but don't cut it yet, and bend a loop in the end
Bend another loop in the other direction.

Bend the wire straight down in the center of the "T"

Bend the wire at a right angle.

Now make a loose coil for the foot of your stand. The taller the stand, the wider the foot you will need. Cut the end and you done!

Finished product! You can definitly get more elaborate if you want, but this one literaly takes seconds to make.
