I have been making jewelry off and on since I was a child. I have also dabbled with other crafts like paper mache and concrete garden art, but I keep coming back to jewelry. I believe it has become an obsession!
My kids are almost 5! I just can't believe it has already been five years. So many people told me to enjoy them because they grow up so fast, those people were right!
I am have inspired by you for about a year now. Every month I look forward to a new creation. And I am never disappointed.
Yes, the young ones I have come to realize do grow fast. i have two little ones 21 mths and 7 mths. There is never enough time. But we enjoy it as much as is possible.
I love the wedding jewelry, it is beautiful and unique. Wear it and be fabulous on your wedding day in June.
Oh and I love your website. Will be buying soon and forwarding your site to other friends of mine.
I have relocated to Jamaica two years ago when I got pregnant and that was when I started jewelry making. Do mind telling me how long you have been making jewelry and when did your personal style develop? I feel like I am replicating other people's pieces all the time even if I variate some.
Hello Marie, On a personal note. I was tickle pink when I saw your coil necklace in a magazine. I had bookmarked you blog some time ago. And I would visit and admire your work. I remember when you first posted the tutorial. That is how I got hooked. Well I started blogging and I added you to my page. That was a cute mother and daughter photo. Have a nice day. Kameela, thank you for your kind comments! I've been making jewelry off and on since I was a kid, but I've been serious about for a couple years now. I did take one 20 hour silversmith course and a one day lamp work beading making workshop, other then that I am self taught. To be honest I'm not sure if I have found "my" style yet. I think it's one of those things that just continuously evolves. It’s hard to say what I’ll be working on next month :)
claycass I'm glad you liked my tutorial! Keep your eyes open for another one :) Thank you for linking to my blog, I appreciate that. I'm going to find you on Etsy and heart you!

Are you still taking classes?
What type of classes have you taken?
Blessings
