Evening Falls -Amethyst and Sterling Silver Bracelet

This bracelet look a lot of time. It's made with sterling silver chain, AAA+ grade amethyst 6mm and 4mm rounds and sterling silver 4mm and 2mm round beads. Every link in the chain has a wrapped doo-dad. I had to stop to make headpins twice because I kept running out. It was one of those projects where you just kept adding until you knew it was time to stop.

Gemstone Cluster Earrings

I made these earrings today. They are full of beautiful faceted gemstones in shades of blue and green. There was some swearing involved. I broke a gem and had to partially dismantled one earring, and I struggled to create mirror images. I think I did a decent job though. Not quite perfect, but perfection is over rated!

I don't have a name for this piece yet. It's crocheted sterling silver wire, with pastel freshwater pearls, amethyst, quartz, aquamarine, and rose quartz. If you have any good idea’s names please let me know! ;)

*UPDATE! We have a name! I held a little contest on a forum I frequent, the conclusion is that this piece is now called Butterfly Wishes. I think it's quite fitting!

Mothersday Sets

I made a few simple, but very pretty bracelet, earring and anklets for the Mothers day market. All I sold was one anklet! lol figures... I did sell some other items, but the pieces I made especially for mothers day didn't sell. I was asking a total of $25.00 for the earrings and bracelet, $45.00 including the anklet. Oh well, maybe this weekend.

Most of these have sold, please contact me if you are interested having something similar made.

Quick and Easy Earring Stand

Here is a tutorial for the basic stands I make for my earrings.

Materials: Wire, I use rebar, or tie wire, you can find it at any harware store, and pliers.

Uncloil some wire but don't cut it yet, and bend a loop in the end

Bend another loop in the other direction.

Bend the wire straight down in the center of the "T"

Bend the wire at a right angle.

Now make a loose coil for the foot of your stand. The taller the stand, the wider the foot you will need. Cut the end and you done!

Finished product! You can definitly get more elaborate if you want, but this one literaly takes seconds to make.

It's been really cold the last few days so I wanted to make something that would remind me of spring. :)
